I had a midnight snack last night of crisps and a milk shake. I took a gaviscon just to cover my reflux which seemed to work. I was hungry last night for the first time in a week.
I was also pleased to have a movement, yes, at last.
I am not meeting Richard from National asbestos helpline today because he has the flu, he doesn't want to pass it around to the meso group tomorrow so won't be attending.
The South West Mesothelioma Support Group meeting will be at the Mustard tree Derriford hospital oncology at 11:30 am.
Any one in the area, please feel free to come along and meet the group. It is a very positive event.
We hold it once a month and it is (unfortunately) Well attended.
Siobhan has created a logo for the new charity, Richard and I are deciding which one to choose and I think we have settled on one. It will be wonderful to see it launched.
It will be a local charity for people with mesothelioma, asbestosis and pleural plaque. We have a lot to do and think we will be very busy when it does start as it is completely new for the area.
All so exciting, I am doing a small radio interview tomorrow before the support group meeting about asbestos in schools and in the afternoon I am looking forward to meeting my cousin June who I haven't seen for a very long time. It is so lovely to be back on track agin and be in control of my life, Look out world!!!!!
