Kieran is back to school tomorrow, this is his last year at school, it has come round so fast. It doesn't seem that long ago I had come back from Germany in July 2008 after having treatment there and I was thinking about how proud I was to see him got to senior school.
Now, here I am, sat here and writing about him leaving school and moving onto college. I feel so very blessed and looked after, I am sure my dad is surrounding me every day.
I am feeling a little brighter today, my "stuff monitor" will be proud of me this morning .... and we will say no more about that : )
I am so very proud of my children, they are my fire, my strength, I know I say it all the time. With out them I don't think I would have as much fight as I do.
Siobhan's Queen Chrysalis model.
This is the cartoon of Queen Chrysalis from the My little pony cartoon series. I believe there isn't a model or pony collectable of her yet but don't quote me on that as I know nothing at all about my little pony! This is Siobhan's customised pony of Queen Chrysalis, it sold for £205, all proceeds to charity.
Siobhan did very well with a pony she customised, she put it up on an auction site to raise money for a charity organised by the Ponycon 2012 event this year, She raised £205, I am so proud of her and what she has achieved with all that has been going on the last 6 years.
We have all had a lot to deal with. We have had to come to terms with losing our wonderful dad and grand dad and then to be diagnosed with mesothelioma 3 months after he died, I am amazed by her.
